
Account Executive
Steel City Media has full-time opportunities available for highly ambitious, energetic, and self-motivated individuals to join our sales teams in Pittsburgh, PA.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Develop client relationships, contact key accounts, develop new business, and manage accounts at various stages in the sales cycle
- Provide weekly sales projections, account updates, collections and forecasting of future advertising
- Expand sales in the local market by presenting advertisers with ideas utilizing our radio stations, digital advertising, and events
- Generate sales and oversee campaigns
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with direct advertisers, media buyers, and advertising agencies
- Develop short and long range plans for revenue growth
- Research, analyze, and monitor competitive media for new leads
Position preferences:
- Excellent people skills
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and creative
- Digital Sales experience, or some knowledge of digital marketing
- Minimum of two years of outside sales experience preferred, but not required
- Bachelor degree (with an emphasis in Business, Marketing, or Communications) preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license and state mandated automobile insurance (including an acceptable driving record) are required
- Ability to commute to the office (5000 McKnight Road in Pittsburgh)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Intern to join our Pittsburgh team!

About the Role:
Gain knowledge and experience in a dynamic and fast-paced media organization dedicated to delivering outstanding products and services to our clients. Our sales team is at the forefront of driving growth and building lasting customer relationships. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the world of sales and advertising.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the sales team in generating leads and identifying new business opportunities.
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitor activity.
• Support the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and other materials.
• Participate in client meetings and calls to build relationships and understand their needs.
• Track and update customer information in the CRM system.
• Help analyze sales data and create reports to identify areas for improvement.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions for strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong interest in sales, business development, and customer relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work collaboratively in a team setting.
